DALLAS (WKZO AM/FM) — Four WMU Broncos were picked in the NFL Draft this past weekend, including the first from a Michigan school, Chukwuma Okorafor who went to Pitsburgh in the third round.
The Steelers also picked Jarvion Franklin in a later round.
Darius Phillips was picked up by the bengals and Tampa Bay signed WMU tight end Donnie Ernsberger in later rounds.
NFL Teams also drafted players from the University of Michigan, Michigan State, Ferris, GVSU and six from Central Michigan.
Most will get a tryout with no guarantees.
